TEAM

We truly are a family business.

I’ve been with my wife, Nikki, for 23 years. We have 3 children together named Kingston, Nolan and Olliver. She has been behind the scenes of every decision I have made in my life. We have dreamed, planned and worked for the life we have since we started dating in 2000. She has her Master’s degree in education from Liberty University. She is an RDH and Program Director for Dental Hygiene at Halifax Community College. Nikki helps us behind the scenes part time with the organization and clerical details that help us run a streamlined operation.

My Name is Michael Keeter. I am originally from Roanoke Rapids, NC. I am the owner and the lead technician of the lab. Nothing leaves my doors without my design approval and final QC. I have an AAS in Dental Laboratory Technology from Durham Technical Community College. Art has been a passion of mine since a young age. I’ve always made time for art and creative projects in my life. I had a background as a machinist and welder/fabricator before going to Durham Tech when I was 22 yrs old. I fell in love with this profession the day I waxed my first crown in lab school. I still get excited about creating a smile and I hope I still feel that way the day I retire. I am also an avid fisherman and spend as much of my free time as I can on the water chasing largemouth bass, spotted bass, striped bass and red drum. No matter how busy I am, I always have time to talk about fishing 🙂

This is Brendan Riley. He has a BFA from ECU. He is an extremely talented fine artist and it has benefitted me greatly to have him here as a partner. He is originally from Washington, NC. He is the heartbeat of the lab. Brendan has been working with me for over a decade and has mastered the infrastructure of the lab. He is responsible for the milling/printing departments as well as some of the design processes and finishing of the monolithic cases. As we grow he has always been there helping me with insights on efficient workflows and predictable outcomes.

These are my kids. From left to right are Olliver (ollie), Nolan (stonecold), Kingston (roundhead) and my niece Joslynn (honeybooboo).

Although they do not work for me, they have been my biggest motivation in my life. Every case we do and client we take on, they are always the thing in the back of my mind. I’ve worked extremely hard to try and create something stable that can provide a good life and example for them. Who knows, one day one of them could be your technician.
