Protocols must be followed to have your case processed on time and be covered by a 2 year warranty.

WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS

All important info needs to be on the Rx form sent from your digital impression unit…not a separate email at a later time. (Patient name, tooth numbers, final shade, stump shade, implant brand & diameter)

Crown and Bridge:

Clear scans with visible margins and a correct bite. Please scan as much of the arch that is available not just 3-4 teeth.

Anterior and Veneer cases:

We must have a scan or impression of the pre-op teeth, temps or completed wax up as well as stump shade or the case will not be warrantied for tooth position or shade discrepancies. Remakes will incur additional fees.

Implant cases:

Clear scans including a scan body scan and gingival sulcus scan around the implant. Our house system is the TruAbutment system from www.truabutment.com. Make sure you use the “truscan” scan bodies and not use the sirona/cerec scan bodies that TruAbutment offers. If you prefer a different system, we may need additional time to order scan bodies and components. Please call or email us in advance if possible.

Complex Cases:

We need an email or phone conversation to establish a clear plan for the case before sending.

Patient Photographs:

We use an individual shared dropbox folder for each account to deposit your photos. (Sirona clients can attach these to the order in connect.) If you do not have a dropbox file set up with us please send an email and we will have it set up for you within 24 hours.

***cell phone pics are not an acceptable form of photography for shade information.

As of January 1 2024, Optishade scans are a requirement to get our anterior shade match guarantee.
*Any case processed without the Optishade technology, needing remakes, will be charged additional fees.

MinimalPrep Veneers:

We are asking for vinyl impression on these cases still.

Matisse Cases:

Non Polarized Grey card photo with black background, Optishade scan of stump with black background, Optishade scan of target shade tooth with black background.
Send to us using the “share matisse” export option.
*Make sure in all optishade scans the tooth is centered in the frame and patient does not breathe on the lens fogging it up. Please see our resources section for a tutorial video.

DS Core cases:

When exporting the case please include the .DXD files. This allows us to download the file in exocad format.
If you want the margin lines to transfer you must manually add that to DS Core before submitting the case to us. Please see our resources section for a tutorial video.
